What is Myhealp?
My healp is a health and knowledge data base for investigators, scientific studies, universities and companies in order to make them work proactively on improving the health and the wellbeing of people.
¿How does Myhealp help athletes and why is the Segments 2020 a pioneer?
Myhealp will make La Segments 2020 the first race to incorporate individual geolocated medical monitoring of participants. The monitoring will allow the medical assistance of the race to follow the physical evolution of the participants at all times. In this way, the medical team will be able to monitor incidents specifically and effectively, act preventively to avoid major incidents and a quick and accurate intervention when an incident has been detected.
¿How the geolocalized Medical monitoring will be done during the race?
1.- A few days before doing the registration in the Girona Bike Segments Race, you will receive and e-mail with a link to download MyHealp app.

2.- After that you will have to answer a quick survey PRE-race and another POST-race so that will allow the creation of your Myhealp profile.
3.- During the collection of numbers you will recieve a new device that connect with any gadget that you are wearing during the race and transmit the obtained information (heart rate, cardio belt, cadence sensor, power sensor, activity bracelet,…). That will enable to obtain information that subsequently will be available in your Myhealp profile.
4.- During the el briefing, an accurate explanation will be done in order to know how it Works, objectives and possible results in using it.
